Concrete / Mortar mixer loader system

I have two different mixers, and since I am older and don't have the steam that I did 20 years ago, getting them loaded is getting to be a lot of work, and dealing with 100 pound bags of cement or mortar cement,
or even dealing with 80 pound pre mix,

years ago (basically pre redimix) many of the mixers had a hopper on them to load them, usually some type of winch system to lift the hopper,


two of the pic are of my mixers, and two of them of a hopper loader,

now my idea is to build one hopper lift, that would work for both units, I see the new ones use hydraulic cylinder, for the lift,

one mixer is electric and one is gas, I would need a power pack, (could rig some type of pump on a lawn tractor and reservoir),

the other ideas that have crossed my mind is a lift and a bucket that would have slider bottom,

some thing like a ladder lift for putting shingles on the roof but a hopper and just the height of the mixer,

even a swing hoist, (picture)

on a ladder type hoist could consider a lawn tractor to pull a rope, for the lift if the dump was automatic,

how would you go about making a loading system that could handle a few hundred pounds, per load, and would work for both machines? and yes some what portable, either attach wheels or have it on wheels for towablity,

I could weld a tab or a few tabs that could be pined ot the mixer to keep things together, and not move apart,

I want some thing that would be easy and not take 10 mins, to dump or load each bucket/hopper load,

Thanks for posting this. I've never seen a hopper like those and the idea is pure genius.
I have a very old manual mixer that a friend gave me when his wife commanded that he empty the back 40 of all the "junk".
My plan is to rebuild it this Summer. Now that I've seen this, I want to add a hopper/chute, as my back's not so strong as it once was.
For my purposes, I'd consider a hand winch - like you see on boat trailers - and maybe a counterweight of some sort.

I've taken a more simplistic approach to the situation. Being in my late 60's I understand you're lack of steam.

I took a wheelbarrow "bucket" (less frame and wheels) and bolted it to a wooden pallet. I use my tractor forks to raise and dump the bucket. I've used it for loading dry material into the mixer and for "delivering" the final product. Really makes it easy to pour footers and set steel posts since you can precisely control the amount of concrete you dump.

Just be sure to secure the pallet and bucket to the forks. I use both straps and a safety chain since a full bucket of concrete is very heavy.

Sorry I have no camera to take pictures but the setup is very simple.

How about a version of a skid steer concrete bucket for the tractor to load the mixers?

I like Jack3489's solution. I've always opened the concrete sacks in the loader bucket then raised it up and shoveled into the mixer. That is reasonably easy but now I need to try the wheelbarrow bucket on a skid.
