While removing snow, I have broken pieces of concrete off, usually 1 to 3 inches across and about 1 inch deep. It's at the edge of where the crack for expansion goes across. The edge of the blade drops down and then gets a hold of it and knocks a piece out. How do I repair these areas?

Epoxy products specifically designed for concrete repair are available at most hardware outlets and should do a good job, You might be best to wait until spring as the repairs might take better in warmer weather. Follow the instructions and you shouldn't go far wrong.

Maybe a stainless steel or aluminium strip fixed across the movement joint might prevent this happening in future.
