connecting cat 1 rake to cat 2 tractor

i'm trying to connect a category 1 rake to my 65 hp tractor. i can't get the lift arms to come together enough to pick it up. is there something that can extend the length of the cat 1 pins that come off the rake? i need about 2" on each side

Weird, I've had Cat 1 attachments on the same tractor (5075e version).
I assume you've adjusted the sway chain linkage as far out as possible, and as others referred to, have the rakes pins facing out rather than in? :confused3:

i am teaching myself all of this so assume nothing!

yes , the rake pins face out but i do not know how to adjust the sway chain linkages out. i will research this and give it a try. thank you for your reply
