Friends,

I'm considering an in-family purchase of a 2005 Kubota M4800 but I'm completely new to tractors. Any ideas on where I could get a loader for it?

Thanks,

Joe

I've used Koyker after market in the past. Good decision.

Joe, if you know all this forgive me. If you are new to tractors and front end loader you need to verify the tractors suitability for loader.

Any Kubota dealer can order a Kubota factory Loader for an MX. Probably $6,000.

Loader would likely ship to a Texas Kubota dealer from Kubota's mega parts warehouse in Kansas.

If not Kansas, then from the Kubota plant in Jeffersonville, Georgia, where all Kubota Loaders and Backhoes are manufactured for export worldwide.

There are Three Point Hitch implements that offer alternative approaches to Loader applications.

Beware of the TOTAL cost of buying, and having an aftermarket loader installed!
Most cost effective usually, is to buy a tractor, with factory loader already installed.

To do that to best advantage, you want to make sure you got either the tractor or loader at a very good price.

I do like the idea of getting a used non-loader tractor.

I always liked the ALO (Quickie) aftermarket loaders.

All,

Lots of good info; much appreciated. I'll have to make some calls and see how much the real cost will look like.
