continental L head power unit

I just bought a farmall power unit. It has a conitnental L head engine a 124 I think. The sheet metal is good but I am going to need to rebuild the engine. I am planning on running a hammer mill with it when it is refurbished. Where can I buy rebuild parts for this? Thanks oldhippy in Ark.

You might try www.tractorparts.com they list lots of tractor engine rebuild kits.. not sure if your power unit crosses over to a production used engine or not.

If you have specific engine info, you might post over on the ferguson board at ytmag.com. The early fergies use contenental ohv engines, and the fergy boys know where to get 50 year old conental parts. They helped me find a flywheel ring gear for an old conental power unit that was running a circulating pump. Also.. you would be surprised at the application books car quest and napa have. They have sucessfully crossed over many parts for my ford N series tractors.

I don't have the power unit home yet. I will bring it home and get the numbers from it an try them for info. I work with a guy that has a T20 and maybe he can shed some light on it.
