Tractor - Jinma 284 with a Jinma Front End Loader (ZL-20?)
While using my finish mower for an hour or so, when I went to lift the mower there was a small leak of hydraulic fluid coming out of the joystick control box. The leak seems to be coming from the rear plunger (the rear of the two that are on the top of the control).
There is not a lot that comes out and it does not seem to do it everytime but the control has never leaked before. I have not used the rear lift or rear PTO very often either. It was quite a hot day so the tractor and it's fluids would have been very hot. Looking at the plunger there seems to be a ring or a bushing around the plunger but it is raised up on one side. I can't say I noticed it there before? I looked on the web to see if I could find a picture of this control box that would confirm this is correct but no luck.
I see there are Rebuild Kits available but the parts look like "O" rings and this is definately a metal ring. There are machine screws onto that I was going to unscrew to see if I can reseat the bushing or ring but I wasn't sure if there would be a risk in creating a bigger problem than I have.
Any help or advice or confirmation that I can look into the control box would be appreciated.
Happy Memorial Day Weekend to the US members. I am in the Louisiana on business but as a Canadian, enjoying the great food though.
