NOPE!

The biggest challenge I had to face today was deciding to put the meat platter on the LEFT side of the grill, or the RIGHT side!

Brats, burgers, a few hot dogs for the kids. Home grown sweet corn, grilled in the husk, Potato salad, made with our own potatoes (Is that correct spelling Dan Quayle? There's the closest thing to politics I'm gonna type!) Ice tea, lemonade, Diet Pepsi's for me, and a couple bottles of ice cold Barley pop for later.

The wife made her "Hawiian pie" for desert. (Graham cracker crust, lemon pudding with pieces of manderin oranges, pineapple chunks, sliced bananna's, and lots of diced coconut. Whipped cream on top, and my fork stuck in the middle! (Last part is optional)

Both of my kids. (25 and 27 years old. Guess they aren't kids anymore) Their spouses, the 4 grandkids, and my mother-in-law here to enjoy the day.

Gotta get back outside.

Afterwhile, I'm taking everyone on a hayride around the farm.

Nope, Ron, you got it backwards (or you have a different grill from mine). /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Mine has the burner for the pot of corn on the right, and the shelf for the platter on the left. Uh . . . well, maybe it depends on whether you're talking about my right as I face the grill or whether you're talking about the grill's right as it faces me. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

At ay rate, I did even better today; planned to cook a pork tenderloin on the grill until our daughter told us last night that she was fixing the dinner for today, so I didn't even have to cook. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

My grill gets meat left, right, and center. The firebox is offset, so the main compartment is usually used as a barbecue smoker, though I can direct grill on it. As a matter of fact, beginning Thursday night, we barbecued 22# of beef brisket (sliced later for proper Texas bar-b-q), 19# of pork shoulders (all pulled later), and followed by 24# of ribs Saturday. Used about 40# of charcoal over nearly 40 hours barbecuing about 65# of meat. Most is vac-packed in the freezer for quick and delish dinners later on.

The ribs were delightful. We have been using a blended sauce based on Head Bar-B-Q out of Oklahoma for a finish sauce on the ribs, and like it quite well.

Do you mean a hot wrench or a small pipe wrench I use to change small lawnmower mufflers ?

Barbecue wings can go on either side, left wingers or right wingers. Vegies are more of a left wing thing , where steaks and such are right wingers stuff. So I suppose the majority of meat will go on the right.
