Convert Detent Remote to Spring to Center?

Anyone know if it is possible to convert a detent remote to a spring to center without just changing out the valve?

Isnt it already spring center if you dont push it all the way into detent?

In any case, most valves have like 4 little detent balls and a spring to engage. You can remove the cap off the non-handle end and probably just remove the balls.

Does the valve in question detent in all positions? If yes then you might not be able to convert to spring center easily.

The Tech desk at Surplus center may be able to help especially if it is a Prince valve.

It is a Mahindra factorty rear remote. My preference would be to convert it since buying a replacement valve body would be about $600.

It detents in all positions, no spring to detent. It makes it a pain to feather the flow because it's rocking on the detent balls when trying to feather it. I tried removing the detent balls and spring but that just makes the lever sit wherever I leave it and it's very possible to bump it to on and it would stay there.

Didn't know if there were internals available that replace the detent balls to make it spring to center. I have two other spring to center rear remotes and when I pulled the cap off to look at those they look completely different.
