I am trying to get a 65 Mark II running. The oil gauge is stuck and needs to be replaced. An oil tube runs the oil pressure to the gauge. Has anyone replaced one of these with an oil sending unit on the engine and a wire connection from the sending unit to a gauge in the dash?

Did that decades ago for a car of some kind where the original gauge went bad. Worked fine.

Get a 1/4 Gas 12v sendingunit and fit it into the block......fitt a pilot light in the dash and add some wiring to it......remember to change the ign switch to be able to switch lhe pilot light off !.
