Converting from PTO to hydraulic motor

I am looking to convert my three point fertilizer spreader that I use for sand and salting in the winter from PTO powered to hydraulic powered so I can mount it on the loader. I figure it would be much faster to have a spreader as loader attachment that is easy on off vs the painful process of taking my blower off and hooking up the spreader just to go up the driveway one time. I know it wouldn't spin as fast with the lower flow of the third function hydraulics on the loader but I would kind of like it to slow down a bit anyway. Also the hydraulic lever would give better control vs turning the pto on and off for small areas.

So my question is what hydraulic motor would the hydraulic brains suggest? I have been looking at surplus center but can't figure it out.

A couple of questions:
Is the PTO drive a direct 1:1 ratio on the spinner or is it geared up or down?

Unless you know what speed you are at today it will be hard to size a hydraulic motor.

What flow in GPM do you have at the 3rd function?

Once you know the desired RPM of the hydraulic motor and available input flow you can calculate the size of the motor.

example: Desired speed: 450 RPM
Available flow: 4 GPM

4 x 231 = 924 cubic inches flow divided by 450 RPM = 2 CIR motor

I will throw out another option that might save you some money. Consider one of those electric broadcasters like is used behind ATV's. I have one that I use to spread fertilizer, it will hold about 50lbs at a time. I have had mine for several years and dont remember the cost, but when you factor in the cost of the hydraulic motor, the hoses and coupleings, the electric one might prove to be cheaper and maybe even more versitile considering you could mount it on your mower to use in in your lawn if you needed to. Might not fit your application, but thought I would throw that option out there.
