Converting to forklift type propane cylinder

I have a MF65 propane tractor that only has a 20 gallon propane tank, I'd like to change it to a forklift style tank. Anybody ever done this? I'm not worried about the fittings/plumbing, my main concern is flow. I don't know if there is a difference in flow or the way fuel is delivered from the tank. My tank right now has a VAPOR valve and a LIQUID valve, where most forklift tanks I've seen only have one valve...not sure if that will matter.

This is easy. Just get yourself a propane tank from a forklift. Go to any forklift shop and ask to purchase a "rego" fitting. This is what the fitting that screws to the tank is commonly called. Go to a hose shop, tell them you are working with propane similar to a forklift and get what you need. Many shops sell field attachable propane hose and fittings, this may make it easier. Mount the forklift tank either vertically or horizontally, doesn't matter, but if mounting horizontal make sure the tank is rotated correctly. Them outlet stem in the bottom of the tank goes to the bottom of the tank and is angled to one side. Basically the same pressures, flows from both tanks. I'm a forklift mechanic so any questions feel free to ask.

Hey thanks, now I guess I'm on the hunt for a bottle now. This will make life a lot easier with this tractor, not having to haul the whole tractor 10 miles to town every time it needs filled.
