Hi Folks-
I was cutting fields yesterday & the chaff was clogging the front grille. To make a long story short, my 7800 was HOT! i didn't hit the orange mark on the temp gauge, but I was close. I shut it down & it was spitting coolant. I need to add some tonight, and I wanted to be sure that I wasn't doing something stupid... The manual suggests "permanent coolant". Is that different that what I would use in my vehicles? I almost changed my oil last night using conventional 10W30, until I noticed that the API rating didn't match the manual suggested rating. I am assuming that diesel engines use different oil. Any thoughts on either topic would be appreciated.
