LOWES HAIN'T THE PLACE TO GET IT.

Needed 50' of 3/8'' copper tubing.
Lowes price $66 for 20 feet.
Bought 50' the next day at a plumbing shop for $58.
Lowes is thin wall low grade while the plumbing shops is a better quality thicker wall tubing.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...

Just because it comes from a Big Box, it doesn't mean it's going to cost less! :p

I'm rather fond of my local hardware that has been around over 100 years with the creaky wood floors, and local lumberyard. Not only is the service better at these places, but the prices are about the same as the box stores!

I've noticed that copper will sometimes be cheaper at a place that doesn't turn it over as often- you're buying it at a price from a couple of months agor rather than this weeks price.
