Core aeroator parts

Any of you purchased replacement tubes for your aeroator? I'm wanting to build my own and figure if I can buy the tubes at a reasonable price, I can build the whole unit for less than original purchase price.

What size aerator are you working on? You can get replacement tubes for Agri-Fab and Brinley quite easily from any dealer that sells them. But these are rather light units and you may be working on something far more subsdtantial.

My friend just bought a 72" model from Corriher Equipment, He also bought a 60" overseeder from them, I used the corer and he used the seeder for 15 hours this weekend.

The unit he bought was about $800.00, and worked like a champ, we did have to put 6 bags of conrete on it to get good sized plugs, but I guess that will vary depending on your soil conditions.

I guess what I am saying is take a look there and call them, The unit is very well made and is fast-hitch compatible(I-Match) And at that price, I am not sure you could build a good one...

The unit was private labled, so not sure who really made it, but is very nice and painted JD green!

I think we can provide 2.5 MM for $3.75 each and 3.5MM for $4.34 each. I don't know if we have in stock enough for a entire machine, If we dont, we can drop ship from our warehouse. Ken Sweet

Greg, Both our tines are bigger in diameter than 3/4. Sorry could not help on this one. Ken Sweet

An idea you might like, I made a frame and mounted a 50 gallon barrel on my aerator. I can put any amount of water I need to make it plug like I want and drain it to store. It has worked very well for me.

Hello Greg, I got into the office this morning and got out my metric and SAE calipers and done some measuring. The 2.5 MM is showing approx. .990 on the calipers for the OD. You need .875 --Thanks Ken
