Corn Planter Plates? IH Model 56 2r

I've just purchased a used IH Model 56 2Row Corn Planter.

I need plates for flat seed, that will lay about 5.5" apart.

Going 36" Rows planting 38,000 seeds per acre for population of 34,000 plants.

What part number plate, and where can I get them in a hurry?

Can anybody help me in the right direction?

I have a model 56 planter, and hundreds of plates, I don't have a chart to determine the exact one you need. It would be a 24 cell, but which 24 cell?

The plates will depend on your seed size.

Follow the link I am going to post. Page 37, 39 and 40 should be of use to you. Also search Ebay for a manual for your planter as it will have the charts to adjust population and fertilizer (if you have fertilizer on yours). I have a 4 row 56 and use my manual every year to verify my settings and when I adjust fertilizer rates.

We have found that we have to match the plates to the seeds. What they say on the bags is not always correct to the plates.
