I am looking at buying a dirt/pond scoop for my tractor. It is a 25 hp. 4 wheel drive Nortrac/Jinma. I am unsure of what scoop size I need for this tractor. I would like a 30" scoop but I do not know if it will fit. I am concered about the scoop hitting the back tires when lifted (I have read some older posts where others have had this happen on other tractors). The inside width of the rear tires is about 37". The lift arms extend beyond the rear tires about 9". Should I get the 30" scoop of be safe and get a 24" ?? Any advise would be great.
Thanks,

I think that you should get the 30" because it will fit between your tires even if it extends far enough to hit them. The measurement is the length not the width. They both are the same width. I made a 30" dirt scoop that would barely hit the corners on my very small 1510D yanmar. It will be fine for you.
