Does anyone know what the correct kit number or numbers are for the rear remote kit to add one rear remote to a Grand L3540 without a cab?

I'm getting a couple of different quotes on the kits and they are varying greatly. I want to make sure I'm ordering the correct kit.

I don't have a part number but I paid 1200 for 2 sets (4 outlets) last fall. I believe the first one is more expensive than the second and third.

I got a quote from a dealer that stated that the L8346 base kit is all I need and that it included the valve, lever and all plumbing. I called another dealer and they said that number corresponds to a cab model and I would still need the L8308 or L8309 vavle. Confused!

You would need a base kit L8346 for a cab tractor, retail 519.. The valve body most commonly sold is L8303 is 233.

Both are needed or the other valve body with float detent is L8309 and costs 293.

Thanks Art, do you know if the L8346 will work with the ROPS model tractor and not just the cab model.

Thanks

I ordered a kit for my 3240 Monday with dilivery thur or Fri. I don't know the number, but told my dealer what I wanted to do. The kit is to include the lever, which he said I would need to bungy cord one way or the other to operate a back hoe. Cost with float is $741 and without, 691. At present, I did not need the float, but did not need the remote when I bought the tractor. If I did not get the float now and need it later, I would have to buy the whole thing again. He also said $500 and change for the second remote. According to him, it is easy to install by taking the seat off and follow the directions including. We'll see. Because I thought the $741 was high, I called another dealer and they quoted $800.
