Cost for new front Turf Tire for CK-20?

Do any of you know what I'd be spending on a new front tire for my CK-20?
I have a front turf that the sidewall took a puncture -- a JD dealer put a tube in for me earlier this year, but tube failed during heavy loader work this past weekend.

Took to Kubota dealer around corner from my work (Kioti has no dealers anywhere near here... (Central Mass) very frustrating... Kioti any chance you'll open one someday? You've had many in past in central mass and southern new hampshire... not driving 50+ miles for tire repair or replacement)

They were thinking new tire required. I didn't ask what cost as guy checking in didn't seem to know much. He also asked someone else if they needed to collect money up front?? I'm like -- well you have my tire and rim as collateral... Get me a new tire and mount it and I'll pay for it. Duh? The guy didn't seem like he wanted to deal with me ... Went to them because JD dealer's fix this past spring didn't get me very far...

Now I'm wondering what I expect it to cost -- so asking here.

It's a Titan Turf tire 24 x 8.5 x 12/4 is what Kioti website says -- what exactly does that mean? 24" diameter, 8.5" width and 12/4 what? Sorry I'm clueless and just want to know.
I'm also frustrated / annoyed... that dealer rubbed me the wrong way and now I'm ready to go elsewhere.
Any other suggestions? I was thinking an automotive tire place isn't the best idea...

Oh crap I just realized I posted this in Buying/pricing -- meant to post in owning / operating.

Eg. 16 x 6.50-8 or “sixteen six fifty by eight”



1. Sounds even worse when said aloud.

2. The overall height of the tire is 16 inches.

3. The width of the tire is 6.5 inches.

4. The diameter of the rim that this tire fits is 8 inches.
In your case 24 in high, 8.5 in wide, 12 in diameter of rim ledge to ledge, 4 ply

Tire barn in Gardner Athol does tractor tire work. Clem's in spencer or o'hearns on rt. 9. You might also try tractor supply.

You need an automotive tire shop that deals with tractor tires. There are some around, I live 15 minutes from one. The reason the tube failed is because the damage on the tire sidewall chaffed the tube.

I've been to Ahearns -- Tim Ahearn is a great guy.

Turns out Kubota dealer will have a new tire by Friday and will have it done so I can have it on the weekend. I called this morning and got a much more knowledgeable person.
I'm happy now. The info here is good to know -- thanks for responding.

Not as worried about the cost now... just need the machine Saturday and it should be back up and running... and didn't need to drive 50 miles... about 1/4 mile from day job!

Tire was ready yesterday at 3:00 p.m. (dropped off Monday) -- quite impressed.
New tire ordered Monday afternoon, ready next day -- originally they thought Friday.
It's a different brand but tread pattern looks identical to the Titan original tires. Quite happy.

It was $96 for the tire plus $36 in labor -- a bit much, but I just want my machine back in service... not too bad.

Hopefully good for a while in terms of tires. Machine is 8 years old -- have had 3 flats on front tires in that time if I remember right -- all due to legit punctures, no defects or anything.
Fronts take quite a beating when loading heavy stuff like stone dust etc. Moved a lot of material over the years!
