Hi Guys,
First-time poster, long-time reader... I've got about an acre of land with about 9/10's of it as open grass, limited hillwork. While I'd originally gone the self-propelled route, I'm looking to enable both my wife and my father to mow without me having to worry about them spending 90 min+ in the summer heat. I've come across several L130's and D108/110/120's... the three that have my eye most:
2005 L130: 213 hrs / 2-bin bagging system / new blades, deck belt with idlers, and deck spindles -- 1300.00
2006 L118: 85 hrs / 2-bin bagging system / new blades, brakes, spindle shafts, spindle sheaves, drive belt, drive idlers, deck belt and blade bearings -- 1050.00
2004 LT150: Unknown hours / 2-bin bagging system / full "tune-up" (belts, blades, battery) last season, deck guard is a bit chewed -- 1000.00
Any of these a solid deal? I don't want to end up with a dog (not sure if the Kohlers are historically better than the B&S's, other known issues, etc--pretty "green" to JD mowers). Appreciate anyone's insight/help/opinion.
Thanks!
Jamie
