Ballast counter bal for rottery mower

hi
i am getting a k k xb 48" rottery mower, for my bx2230. i have liquid balast in my tires. will i also need any other front wieghts to ballance the mower. i have a front loader that i can put on if i have to , but would prefer not to,(i have 10 acers of old plowed farm field to cut very uneven and rough)

I'm not sure if you can get a mounting bracket and suitcase weights for your machine, but that would be an option. I would use the FEL and you can fill the bucket if even more weight is needed.

I have the kk 48" regular size cutter for my BX2230 and I leave the loader on, it needs that much weight in the front for that size cutter. I think if you use the weight bracket you may have to take the grill guard off.

Using the FEL is your best form of protection in the feilds. It can find objects if you never mowed the feild before. If you get stuck in a wet feild, you can crab your way out with the FEL. You will find you will need the FEL when lifting the KK since it kinda light in the front. driving in turtle speed and take your time should not be a problem in rough feilds with the BX. Unless you already have made counterweight for your BX to go on the front, I would prefer the FEL on instead off.
