after a couple yrs , I noticed a couple things I wish I did at new, so..
1 under coat the underneath, I notice the edges of the metal peels, so at least the base metal wont rust if it does peel.
2 Paint the screen I noticed several machines also rusted
3 Paint the rad screen. I caught mine early, but the bottom will peel and rust.
4 paint the bolt heads everywhere,,
5 paint the floor under the mat, then put tape over the high parts to get it a wear surface..6
put an edge tape at the sides where your boots get in,, and on the rear fender where your heel rubs.
