On my B7800 the hydraulic lines and fittings run along the top and are exposed to falling objects.
One line is already bent form the use of the prior owner.
Lacking metal working skills, I fabricated 1" pt deck boards into a two plate cover with heavy iron
angle supports. Very solid and sturdy.
I removed the four original bracket bolts, added the lower plate and inserted 4 new bolts (1" longer)
through the heavy angle irons,
Then attached the front cover plate to help protect the hydraulic fittings, as well.
Upcoming is a coat of Kubota orange paint and a large Kubota sticker that is now on order.
