As I described in a previous post, the pin that holds the steeering actuator to the frame of the tractor fell out due to the roll pin backing out on my 6000 4x4. The dealer must be getting tired of fooling with me because he has raised his service call charge $15 each time he has come out to look at my tractor. First time it was $45 then $60 and this time $75. All in a time span of less than a year. Each time I have had the basic servicing done and had him fix the starting at the key. One time it was a ground cable, next time a bad connection caused by how he installed the box to run my twine tie on my roller, and now he says the starter is bad and he'll have one in 2 weeks. First 2 weeks is a long time to get parts for anything! Second he said the pin and bushings for the actuator will not be covered under the warranty. What do you think? I think he, myself, and Mahindra out to be **** lucky nothing bad happened due to the pin falling out and not finding themselves named in a lawsuit. I see it as poor qaulity workmanship and/or parts. I will be trading tractors to get a cab in the next year or so and with service like this I don't see doing buisiness with him or Mahindra /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif. Heck of a way to treat a customer who spent $45,000 with him last year. Geuss he figures I've got everything I'll be buying for a while. WRONG!
