There are small livestock operations around me and I see a lot of burros and llamas in the pastures. Must be effective as I rarely hear coyote calls anymore. Five years ago we would hear them regularly. From observation it seems that most of the fawns are making it to maturity now also.

We had 8 white tails browsing in the back (<fifty feet behind the house) two days ago and it looked at least 3 generations in the group, 3 or 4 were 2007 fawns.

Don't know about Llamas but I can tell for sure that Donkeys HATE coyotes and will do just about anything to run them off.
