I have a small crack in the pot metal (I think-maybe aluminum) manifold. This is right at the connection for the hose. I have tried electrician tape 5 ply held with a hose clamp-no luck it bleeds air past the tape. The photo shows the black tape/clamp area. I can't find a dealer for this (cheap pancake) compressor. I think my options are fix it or replace the compressor.
The manifold has a second connection on the opposite end that blows tank pressure (no adjustment.) see photo. I have no use for this option. Can anyone suggest a way to swap the adjusted pressure (left connection) with the unadjusted (right connection.) If this can be done I can just plug the leak with JB Weld and/or a plug.
I sure could use an exploded view of the manifold connections that control pressure from that red knob.
I should say this is for amature occasional use by an old man (me)
Its a 3HP HDC pancake compressor
