Craftsman lawn tractor SV735-0016 will not start backfires

2007 craftsman with SV735 engine. Replaced flywheel and starter, started right up. Mowed front yard then parked overnight. Started up next morning cut about 100ft then bogged down and died. Has not started since. Will turn over and backfire but will not start. Any ideas.

Key in the flywheel fell out or sheered ----- Why did you replace the flywheel??

The teeth on flywheel snapped off. The entire ring snapped in half.

The new flywheel does not have threaded holes for puller. Do you know if it is ok to use a claw puller?
