Craftsman LT-1000 leaking gas from exaust

I had the same problem with two V21hp B&S and got sick of dealing with them. Both were Electrolux, one craftsman and one Poulan. The new gas is killing small engine performance. I've had much better luck with my Kohlers in my two JD lawn tractors though.
