A month or so ago I went out to pull the mini tiller out of the shed for the wife and found that the fuel tank is cracked beyond repair (I tried patching with a fuel tank epoxy kit). I looked up a replacement tank but found them to be obsolete. I checked with a local shop and was told that the motor assembly was made by Tecumseh and is no longer in business.
As I can't find a replacement tank I thought about frankensteining another tank but as much as this thing vibrates and bounces around I'm not sure it would hold.
Does anyone know if there is a way to replace just the engine? Preferably with something still supported?
Any guidance is appreciated
