My right side of my craftsman zero turn will engage when the arms are in the neutral position. Any suggestions on what is wrong here? No longer under warranty so need to perform some due diligence before calling in the pros.

You need to adjust the linkage from the control lever to the drive control.

I am not familiar with a Craftsman unit.

On my Land Pride, there is a nut at both ends of the linkage, (one being left hand thread), you rotate the linkage in the desired direction, after loosening the nuts.

The linkage would need to be shortened on mine, to give it less reverse when in park.

Adjusting this, will change the location of the handles some. therefore, you may also then have to adjust the stops for the handles when they are full forward. And, or, adjust the levers to get them even again. And, or, adjust the cylinders that center the handles when you let go after reversing.

It's a bit of a pain to get it all balanced out again. So, be patient.
