Hi guys/gals. I'm new to here and I have a question. I need to know how to start a mower I inherited from my uncle who just passed away. I need to cut his grass and I don't know how to start it.

Seems this guy does a pretty good review for you.

He does not actually tell you how to start it - sit in the seat, lock the brake, make sure the PTO is off, pull the choke, set full throttle, turn the key... That should start it.

Parking brake on, steering handles locked outward, PTO off. Engine will start, but will die if parking brake is on with steering handles in. Blades will not start without operator presence on seat.
