ok, was walking through the fishing section at walmart and had this revelation. i was actually looking for cheese cloth to make some compost tea with. we have had a LOT of rain, and most of our garden plants are looking a little Nitrogen challenged. well, i saw the cricket cage, and realized i had two of them at home. perfect.
i realize this isn't tractor related, but just had to share this super easy and effective way to make up some compost tea. each cage is worth about 3 five gallon buckets of tea before you have to refresh it. good for trace minerals, too.
