We don't have any Kioti dealers anywhere close to where I live, the only dealer in town is a John Deere dealer, they have nice tractors but the price of them puts them out of my range. The kubota and Bobcat dealer is 32 miles away in another town. I just got a price on a 2011 carryover CT235 with one remote, bobtach bucket, ind. tires, and a block heater for 18,000 before tax. They sold the 230 I got a price on earlier. They are going up some more this year I understand. Thanks for all your replies, I appreciate them.

I paid $18,400 (incl taxes) in Canada for my 2009 CT230 with free FEL program, R4 tires, no remotes, deluxe suspension seat, block heater, slow moving vehicle sign, bob-tach and a full tank of fuel.

32 miles to drive is nothing. Go for it. You'll love it. Don't waste any more seat time...

You could drive the tractor 32 miles in 2.5 hrs!

I bought my CT235 from dealer that is 80 miles away and paid $17,300 delivered to my door last year and included bobtach w/68 inch bucket, 2 sets of rear remotes, deluxe seat, block heater & AG tires. Dealer came out to my place to pick up tractor in September last year for 50 hour maintenance and then brought back when they were done, so I don't have any issues with my dealer. Charged me $90 for service call to pick up and deliver and well worth it to me as I am a newb to tractors and didn't want to mess anything up. Also, they just came out last weekend to my place to do warranty work - replaced the block heater as it stopped working this winter and it was covered by warranty so I didn't have to pay anything. You should go for it before the prices go up!

I have a CT230, love the tractor but have met its limits almost every time I use it. Does it do what I need it to? yes Would I like a bigger tractor? yes/no

Right now this tractor fits my truck and trailer capacity. I am able to move it around town to play/work where ever I like. It does eventually do all I need it to do, just have to take smaller bites sometimes. It would be interesting to see how much more power the CT235 has compared to the CT230.

All and all I am happy with the tractor if the price was not a thousand more for the CT235 I might have gotten the 235.

Hi All, I am a new member to this forum although I am a long time lurker. After several years of of renting tractors my bride gave me the green light to buy a new one. There was no question it would be a Bobcat. We have a great dealer here that gave me a price that was $1000 cheaper than anywhere else. I had been renting his 230 as of late and have been loving it. I didn't real notice any difference between that and the 235 but there was a definite marked improvement of the 230 over the 225

If you have hills and or are going to use PTO implements a lot, then I would be thinking about getting the 235 really hard. Other than that, get the 230. Most people that have the 225 get by, but would prefer to have at least the 230. There actually is a bigger difference in hp between the 235(34hp) & 230 (30hp) than the 230 (30hp) & 225 (27hp).

Good luck with whatever you choose. ;)

I'll say my CK30 HST is marginal for power. I'd prefer the CK35, but for the extra money, I'd go for the DK40 instead. So, either the CT230 or the CT340 is my vote, it's always just about money, but you only have to buy a tractor once very 20 years, so get the one you really want, at least that's the lesson I learned.
