I know this is well documented, but wanted ritcheyvs to add it to his spreadsheet http://kittrellcommunitywatch.dyndns.org/Kioti_IP_Data

My tractor has 1100 hours and like most of the failures was running fine, shutoff, would not start again. Mine had two broken teeth on the gear for the #3 cylinder. It also had the gears with an unmachined spot on the unused portion that prevents rotating them 180 degrees.

I purchased 3 replacements from H and H for $52 shipped to my house. I attached a copy of the invoice in case someone else wants to use them.

It probably took me six hours total, I'm pretty slow. :). Nothing at all difficult about the job, check some of the other posts on the spreadsheet for step by step instructions.

Spreadsheet should show your update. Your pics are excellent.

How did you determine the correct gear to order from H&H?

This gets a big ATTABOY! A Canadian CK20 owner recently posted that it cost him $1800 for his dealer to replace his IP (and some of us are not convinced that IP was bad).

Sorry to hear of your IP failure. Good job on getting the replacement parts. Can you post your Bobcat's serial number so the date of manufacture of your machine can be included? Did you have any symptoms leading up to the failure, or did it just die, dead with no warning whatsoever?
Is it back together running well now?

I used the same part# from this post. The parts guy used the 140241-2700 1303 number instead of 9 411 617 148. The replacement gears (I believe the nomenclature was "Control Sleeve") have all the teeth machined in them.

The serial number is A9JY11910.

No symptoms of impending problems, the tractor had been running fine for about 15 minutes, stopped to put an attachment on and it wouldn't start. Determined it wasn't getting any fuel, pulled the stop solenoid to verify it was working and then tried shifting the rail by pushing where the stop solenoid was removed and could feel it wasn't moving. Commenced Googling...

It's all back together, running well, and I have about 5 hours on the repair.

Bullet dodged. :)
