Recently my John Deere CT332 had the left size drive motor begin to fail. This necessitated an $8600 repair which entailed popping out the left side drive motor and replacing it with a new 4500 dollar unit. Over the course of the repair, the dealer could not get the 2 speed switch which was on the right side joystick to function (it needed to be pushed twice to enable the high range which I think they may not have realized). They thus moved the function to the left side joystick to a button that was previously inert. The right side joystick also has the controls for the electrohydraulic controls and the horn however. When we got the unit back, I did not think to hook it up to our 6 way dozer blade to check the electrohydraulic controls, or to beep the horn. Since then, however, I have discovered that the horn no longer works and the electrohydraulic controls no longer work.
I've called the dealer several times and they have said there is no way that the problem is related to the repair. It seems impossible that these two things not working could relate whatsoever to anything else though. Any suggestions on what I should do? The dealer has been stonewalling and unwilling to come back and fix the problem.
