Know the price and availability of parts before you buy.
Example: cracked and broken clear plastic cover on instrument panel.
OEM = $550
It is part of an "assembly" which includes the entire instrument panel, plastic cover, and screws.
A simple branch falling and cracking the plastic cover will cost $$$ to repair and you cannot expect the instrument panel to last long without a cover.
So far I have not been able to locate any other option. I may attempt vacuum-seal forming of one.

Can't picture that dash, but my first thought was Lexan sheet + carving tools. Might take some time to fit, but for $550, I could find the time !

I like Lexan for how tough it is, probably worlds above what the OE plastic is.

Vacuum forming..... sounds more production oriented..... who knows, you may end up with a side-gig making these for other :tractor: owners who are similarly "impressed" with OE ?

I have found that sometimes I can get a great price from Bobcat, and sometimes its cheaper to get it from Kioti... haven't found a part yet that wasn't interchangeable. I had a rear quarter window on my cab that was broken in a storm... had to get the glass from Kioti.
