Looking to upgrade from a New Holland TC33 with no loader to a Bobcat CT440. Have been to the dealer a couple of times, but not impressed on their willingness to deal. Out the door, before taxes, I am looking at $20,500 for the tractor w/ loader after all the discounts.

Does that seem like the rate you are seeing elsewhere? Still competitive in comparison with other similar tractors of different brands, but want to be better prepared for some dealing.

Thanks for any advice.

Definitely a little higher price than what others had posted on here, but those posts are a little old now. I looked at a CT440 yesterday, and was disappointed at the amount of rust on a new tractor. I didn't get a price on it. I was there to check out their cab tractor, but they didn't have any.

buckeyefarmer: If you are not to far away take the drive down to Ashland, VA and check out the KIOTI DK40SE with Cab I have in stock. LaVoie Equipment Sales, Inc., 12247 Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005:thumbsup:

I had to look up Ashland, should have known where it was, I've stayed overnight there before visiting Kings Dominion. I'm sure the local guy will get some in again for me to look at.

Before last June, you would have been able to save about another $3,000. They had a free loader and an additional cash discount. Now, it's just the free loader or a discount (or 0%).

It depends if it has any additional options.
If not, I think that is not a good deal.
Their web site quote's a MSRP of $20,193 with loader if you pay cash or get your own financing.
I never pay MSRP for anything, so I would guess you could knock off an additional 5%.
When I was researching mine, I sent out EMAIL's to 20 different Bobcat dealers within 200 miles asking for their best cash price.
The prices I got back were well over $1,000 difference.
Luckily the one closest came in 2nd, so I went with them.
Good luck.
