Howdy. I have a Cub Cadet 1050 that is about to enter it's third season of use. The belly mower wouldn't run, and I traced the problem to the wiring harness running to the PTO clutch. The harness, which had come loose, will push into place, but disengages several times during mowing. Could it be that the PTO clutch is in need of adjustment, because it seems to be rotating enough that the harness disengages? I have to manually rotate the PTO clutch to gain access to port the harness plugs in to. Thanks for your responses.
