Cub Cadet 127

Ive found a cub cadet 127 thats in realy great shape. It comes with a mower deck. The only problem is that it dosent run. It turns over and has good compression but no spark. No grill.

Whats this tractor worth??

Hard to say in this economy. With it not running, I'd guess at least $100, but really not more than $300 unless it has great tires, a good seat and paint that doesn't need to be redone and the spark problem could be cured with new points, plug and condensor. If it has other issues, you can spent a lot of money really quickly that you may not be able to recapture. You might look in the classifieds at IHregistry.com for pricing, too.

I was warned that one of the early hydro models had some problems and to stay away from it. Can't remember if it was this one or not.

A 127 was considered by most to be the best narrow frame tractors. The paint is recent except the painter instead of cub yellow they painted it ih red.

Would you paint it the original factory color or let it go through life in red paint? If you price the paint, it isn't cheap.

You don't necessarily have to buy Cub Cadet paint, You could buy paint from say Tractor Supply for about 1/3 the cost, and It's equally as good, if not better. My CC128 Is being painted with the Valspar Cub Cadet Yellow, and Valspar IH White.
