Cub Cadet 2145 won't start

My cub Cadet 1994 2145 backfired now won't start. Any help

Pull your flywheel off on top of the engine and see if it sheared the key.

If it has a kohler courage engine; it is the flywheel key for sure. Pull the flywheel and replace; do NOT look at key with flywheel in place and think it looks good; they all look good.
Do you have spark? and fuel?
