Cub Cadet 3206 series Hydraulic Lift Lines

My 3206 series, bought used 3 years ago had the hydraulic lift lines hooked up backwards , when I bought it, so
up is down , and down is up, with the lever. I now have the fender body off, to remove , and clean out gas tank,
so as long as I have access to hydraulic lines , I was going to reverse them in order to correct problem.
My question is .....how do you disconnect these lines ?
I don't want to do any damage to them, as they are old.

I think I get it....lines must be relieved from the control block, with new O-rings installed.
Sound correct ?
