Convinced a friend that this was a better deal than a 22hp Mitsu with loader for $5900. Got this for $2600. Has 485 loader, motor turns over, doesn't start. Burned out glow plugs, relay and controller which seems to be a common failure. Has electrical issues as key won't crank it. Got the fenders and decking off and pressure washed today. Hopefully we get some of this ironed out tomorrow. After doing some searching I found a service manual for the Mitsubishi SL engines and the specs for the glow plugs indicates 10.5V but the ones installed are 8V (NGK Y-724U). I found a chart of NGK GPs with dimensions but that p/n isn't on it. I also found a site where another 7360 owner used Y-107V and comparing dimensions with the old ones I pulled out, that p/n is the correct size. Plans are to replace the existing control with a momentary switch that will control a 40A relay to lite up the GPs. I also found a service manual, seems to have good info for everything except the electrical component layout. Oh well, at least it has a wiring diagram.

Got the kinks worked out in the electrical system to the point where the key actually operates the starter and glow plugs are on manual control. Still not starting so it was time to check compression. Front cylinder pegged the gauge, others not so much. Next step, pull the head. Hoping it's just stuck rings but will probably replace all of them along with rod bearings and maybe mains once I see how they all look.

Mine won't start unless the range shift lever is in neutral and pulled to the right.
