CUB CADET 7530
Hi everybody:

I just recently bought a 2006 Cub Cadet 7530. I want to replace the Transmission/Hydraulic fluid. The Maintenance manual says oil spec should be: GL 4, 80w (10W-30). My doubt is if is either 80W or 10W-30 viscosity or just I may use wichever is available?

Thanks!

Have a 2005 Cub 7532 and have used Case hytran ultraction the last two changes. It is much better than the OEM cub cadet fluid. In cold weather it doesn't chatter, and the hydro pedal is more responsive and less "whiny" during summer. I have used NAPA transmission/hydraulic fluid for one change and it was OK, but the three point shuttered and hydro pedal was stiff in the cold. I believe our tractors spec the same fluid as the book has both model numbers. The Case fluid is more expensive. The dealer I bought it from recommended the Case ultraction.
