I have a Cub Cadet 826SWE snow blower (Model year 2000) and both of the wires from the engine to the wiring harness broke off right at the connector to the main harness. The engine has a red and yellow wire (AC/DC) but the main harness has 3 reds and a yellow and the broken leads boh go to red wires. I assume that the DC lead goes to the light and the AC lead goes to the heated grips and is converted to DC with a diode. Anybody out there have a similar model that can give me an idea which goes where ? I can use the yellow wire in the harness as a reference for the others, just need to know where to start. I tried to look up a wiring diagram but can't find anything online. Any help would be appreciated.

Just for your information, I sent an E-mail to Cub Cadets customer service department and got a response back the same day. They actually sent me PDF files of both wiring harness drawings showing the connectors and color codes for the wires. Nicholette from Cub Cadet was extremly helpful and I was back up and running the same day. I figure we all complain when we don't get good service fro the OEM's so we owe it to them to comment when we are pleasantly surprised as well.
