Cub Cadet GT 1554 PTO issue

Got the blades sharpened up...all set to go and went for a test. When I pulled out the PTO button to engage the mower the engine slowed and stalled? Turned the button off and restarted the tractor. It started no problem but now..nothing but a click everytime the PTO button is pulled and and disengaged? It looks like the electric PTO is wanting to engage as power is getting to the clutch area..thus the clicking? Anyone else have similar problems? Any advice would be unbelievable....these things are a pain to work on...lots to disassemble just to investigate! Thanks again!

We have one up at the club, it stalls engaging the pto. if you don't let it warm up.
