Cub Cadet GT2521 sputtering.

Thanks guys,
The gas was maybe 2 weeks old in sealed gas can in my barn. I had 2 five gallon cans that I filled up about 2 weeks ago, this was the end of the first can.

I got the tractor back out yesterday, I poured some sea-foam in the tank. It seemed to mow ok last night. Do you think it was just bad gas and the sea-foam helped.

Thanks
Matt

If you are using gas w/ethanol it doesn't take long for it to separate ....... I use Schaeffers Neutra additive to prolong the 'shelf' life. Meanwhile, I've been looking for e0 (NO ethanol) and finally found some locally - MUCH better for storage, mileage & power in all my gas-burners! :) So, it could have been the Sea-Foam, I reckon:confused3:
