decided to take matters in my own hands. tried two differnt methods. on the nose i use an automotive fiberglass kit on the inside of parts. once cured use the standard body filler.aka "bonda. prime and paint. i have been using paint from tractor supply in rattle cans.
the other day i broke both mounting post on my 1541 hood. at work i got what we sell a product called pro-poxy. made by a company called hercules. you "kneed" it together like clay and then form it in any shape you want. cures in twenty minutes like a rock. you can drill it like metal. i am very satisfied. only time will tell how it holds up.
good luck!!
