I have a cub 1864 that has a pto problem. One person said that it was the battery so I change it. But it wasn't the problem.
With the pto engaged the battery light comes on must mean it is draining the battery at an alarming rate. It will run fine until I get into a little taller grass. Now since the new battery it will not engage. Throw the switch and within 15 seconds it blows a fuse.
Do I need a new pto or can I fix it? Tractors to good to go unused.
