Cub Cadet RZT22
I have a question for you all. I bought a Cub Cadet zero turn off an old guy this spring. It's about 10 years old. It has a Briggs and Stratton Intek 22 V twin OHV motor. The model is 407577, type 0317E1, code 040402YG. This mower runs great once you get it started, until you start mowing. It starts to act like it's going to stall, but if I turn off the PTO for the blades it picks back up. I can keep it running with the choke on and going very slow, which I have had to do the last two weeks to get the grass mowed. I have done the following to try to figure out what's going on: removed one plug wire at a time to see if a coil was going out, cleaned the coils and re-gapped them, took carb bowl off and cleaned (found a small piece of rubber from hose in there), changed fuel filter, checked fuel output from pump and it seems like it should be a sufficient amount. These things did not help. Can any of you steer me in the right direction here. When it runs good it mows like a beast, but mowing with the choke on going really slow is killing me. Thanks for any advice or tips.

Here's and easy item to check: Make sure that the vent hole in the fuel cap isn't plugged. If that vent is plugged or partially plugged, the fuel tank will develop a vacuum as fuel is used and cut off fuel flow.

Sounds to me like the carb is suffering from the e-gas blues, IOW gunked up. Your telling statement is running with the choke on. Pull the jug, take it apart and give it a soak in Berryman's carb soak, wash it good with warm water, blow it out and put it back together. That should do it.

Definitely a carb problem from the engine setting with stale gas in it for months. It really only takes a month of setting with ethanol blend gas in the carb to gum things up if the gas isn't treated with an additive like Stabil.
Clean the carb OR put on a new one and you should be good to go. You will have to strip the carb down so you get cleaner to the needle valves to correct the problem.
