If the deck's in good shape it's probably worth what your friend paid for the whole outfit.

I was really surprised, that deck doesn't look like it's ever been patched, the deck around the spindles aren't even pitted, deck is in great shape. He got a heck of a deal on that little tractor.

I like working on those old tractors, unfortunately he's parked it in his shop and it's lower on his list of projects lol which is bugging me, it's not even mine and I'm jonesing to go to a case dealer, buy a rebuild kit for the carb, a service manual and start tearing it apart lol.

Rebuild the carb, fix the shifter, it's missing the choke rod, that needs replaced and both battery connectors need replaced, whoever did those last time did a poor job crimping the braided wires. After all that's done she should be mowing. Almost forgot, needs a new muffler lol.

That was a project I wish I bought lol.

They also had a good running farmall M that they sold for $900, a non running case SC Eagle that sold for $450, the eagle had non filled rear tires that were new, the M rear tires were in ok shape.

I already have a Eagle in the barn but it's got bad calcium filled tears and had no use for the M since it was in good running condition.

I mowed 2 acres, and moved snow with my LoBoy 154 for over 20 years. The tractor is underpowered for the IH3260 deck, but that gave me an excuse to mow more often. With rear chains and my 54" plow I plowed my 300' driveway as well. I only stopped using him in 2015 when I bought my Mahindra 3616. (needed a loader tractor) I think I should sell my LoBoy......but I cant let go. In 20 years I gave him a couple clutches and an overhaul in 2014. Great little tractors is your land is flat.
