I am looking at this tractor and inquired about adding a hoe to it. Here was the reply:

"YES WE CAN PUT A SUB FRAME WOODS BACKHOE ON THIS CUB 7360.
PRICE OF 7360 WITH LOADER AND WOODS 7 FT, BH 70(NEW CURVED BOOM STYLE)
$23482.00, OR WITH A 8FT, BH80 $24016.00
THIS WOULD BE WITH A 16"BUCKET.
THE BACKHOES ARE IN STOCK, WE WOULD HAVE TO ORDER THE SUB-FRAME
PLEASE GET BACK TO ME AND I'LL GET THE UNIT TOGETHER.
PRICES ARE: PLUS S-TAX AND FOB OUR STORE."

This price seems awfully high to me. What do you guys think? And what does FOB mean?

I have a 7272 but am looking to get a unit with a hoe and the cost to add to my 7272 makes it more feasable to sell 7272 and buy a unit with a new hoe. Does this sound logical. I was quoted near $10k to add a hoe and rear remotes locally.

That price sounds very reasonable to me. When I first looked for a 7360, I got a quote of $21K for the machine plus loader. Obviously, prices have come down since CC does not sell that machine any more. A new subframe backhoe goes for $5-7K. So the package price sounds good to me.

The term FOB has several meanings, including "from our base" which is the one I am familiar with. It means that the title to the goods passes to you at their location (base) and you are responsible for shipping, insurance, and loading/unloading costs.

I own a 7360 and I am very happy with it. You can't go wrong with this machine. I sure wish I had a backhoe for it.
